Dr. D’Amico’s goal as a dentist is to be a trusting, honest, skilled, progressive, and empathetic dentist who treats every one of his patients so well that they are self-motivated to refer all of their loved friends and family to his care. After completing his undergraduate studies at RPI and working as an engineer for 6 years, he made the biggest decision of his professional life to pursue his true interest in the world of dentistry. He has never looked back!
Dr. D’Amico is a very lucky father of his two little boys, Vander and Adrian, and he is the husband of a woman who he truly believes is an angel and is most certainly the love of his life. Dr. D’Amico loves to play basketball, so much that he played Division III college basketball, (you’ll get a kick out of his height). He is a HUGE fan of the Syracuse Orange. In his free time, Dr. D’Amico enjoys any day he is with his family and friends going on an “outdoor adventure.” Lastly, he loves to laugh! In his humble opinion, he does not know how you can make it through this crazy world without picking up laughing as a hobby somewhere along the line.
Dr. D’Amico is originally from Syracuse, New York, and he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He later attended SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2002. He ended up migrating back to this area after he finished dental school. He completed his dental residency program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse from 2002-2003 and has practiced in this area ever since. To make sure he has pristine knowledge of the dental techniques, procedures, and technology, Dr. D’Amico completes an average of 30 to 40 hours of continuing education courses each year. Most recently, he completed 130 hours of coursework and hands-on training for the placement of dental implants. In addition, Dr. D’Amico is a member of the following organizations:
American Dental Association New York State Dental Association Fifth District Dental Society International Dental Implant Association (Completed Fellowship in November of 2014)
He has also received advanced training in the following areas:

Sharon – Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel – Certified Dental Assistant
Rachel is Dr D’Amico’s right hand gal. Together they work seamlessly and effortlessly to make your visit comfortable! After having some extensive work done on her teeth as an adult, Rachel realized she wanted to help others properly take care of their teeth and feel great about smiling. At home she’s all about her daughter and family. Have a karaoke machine? Watch out, because this songbird will blow your socks off! Maybe we could get her to sing more around the office!
Audrey – Patient Coordinator
Audrey goes above and beyond when it comes to addressing the needs of our patients! Her interaction is always a delight and she thrives to make each and every visit enjoyable and productive. Audrey is passionate about learning and growing both professionally and personally, which is a perfect fit in this ever evolving world.
Outside of work she spends a lot of time outdoors and two dogs keep her busy. Family and friends are very important. She is a huge hockey enthusiast and played ice hockey in college. Want to talk cooking? She’s all about new recipes and good food. She’s a huge Harry Potter fan and loves any kind of super hero movie!
Sarah – Marketing Coordinator
Sarah was your typical “dental phobic” patient. After orthodontics at the age of 15, she vowed never to see a dentist again! Loe and behold, many many years later, she met and married Kurt. A dentist! She loves that he treats her like all his patients. He’s gentle and talks through each step of a procedure. What she brags most about him and the practice is the confidence a patient will have knowing the treatment recommended is exactly what is needed. Fast forward to today and Sarah is a dental addict! That’s the risk you take when you see a great dentist!
In the office, Sarah is responsible for the advertising and marketing ventures. Whether it is a community service event or a sponsorship, we hope to put our name in a positive light and invite any one seeking a new dentist to come try out our office.
Outside of work, Sarah is the ring leader for two beautiful and energetic boys. If you’re lucky, you may see them during a visit to the office. Although family doesn’t leave much time for other things, horses are her passion. She has been very successful riding competitively for many years. Two of the biggest accomplishments in her life have been potty training a toddler and winning a trophy (horses) for three consecutive years.
